EDV-01 solar and fuel cell-powered mobile home to help you live beyond the doomsday

Daiwa House, a prominent home builder in Japan has decided that the world is going to end at some point in the next hundred years, if not in the next year itself. Well, they might not be high on the whole Mayan calendar scenario, but they sure are willing to cash in on the frenzy such propaganda might cause. Hence the idea of EDV-01: an Emergency Disaster Vehicle that will transform itself into a home with two floors and all the necessity amenities.
The EDV-01 is equipped with solar panels and a fuel cell that will drive your energy needs for a month or so after which you better start seeing some sunshine for further charging up. The two floors in the home a restroom, a small kitchen, beds, a shower, a fridge, LED lights and even satellite-powered data transfer for your mobile or your laptop. You know, while we are at it, we demand DTH television services as well since we are stuck alone for god knows how long and entertainment could come in handy.

That apart, the EDV-01 can change from that closed container to a full home at the push of a button in 4 minutes while the 10 ton behemoth will take some transportation to get to a safe place. By the way, EDV-01 plan only works in some doomsday scenarios as if we are having a nuclear war followed by a long nuclear winter, you can count it out for good. Well, we are happy that if we are going to die, we are doing it emission-free!
