Ornamental flacon storing sweet-smelling perfume goes green this time. Industrial designers Patrick Decker & Florian Langer have created an aesthetically-appealing biodegradable flacon. Dubbed the “Natural Self,” this green beauty features an outer cork body that harmonizes perfectly with the white-colored inner one that is made of PLA, a compostable thermoplastic. When the flacon gets closed a closure covers the overhang of the PLA as a protection against skewing. A small PLA-label with the logo reveals the name of the fragrance which is scheduled for a natural cosmetic product. The Natural Self is specially designed for multiple use or refill packages.
