Designed by Joshpil Shin, the Mutation 1 concept vehicle finds its feet in deep waters and planes alike. The eco-friendly mode of transportation is hydrogen fuel-cell-powered and can take two people on a cheery ride. The highly flexible vehicle has wings, ready to unwrap when the auto plunges into the sea. Its water-repulsive body makes it easier for the vehicle to float on water. On the contrary, wheels come out of the vehicle’s body when it hits the ground.
A perfect vehicle that defies the threat of global warming may prove to be an opportune amnesty in the hour of anguish. Currently, the concept vehicle is listed at the 2010 global vehicle design competition, Michelin Challenge Design.
